醫院管理局尋日（26）下午舉行，「大灣區專科護理知識交流計劃」記者會，3名廣東省護士聯同總護理行政經理見記者。有記者質疑佢哋廣東話水平與香港老人家溝通會否有困難，同英文水平能否睇到病歷，大陸姑娘就表示冇問題。醫管局就話，首批70名護士已經喺4月中抵港，而第二批100名廣東省護士預計最快今年底來港或明年初來港。

大陸姑娘就話：「有啲時候可能我小聲啲（細聲啲）佢哋聽唔見，咁我咪大聲啲囉！哈哈。」佢又話以前讀書嗰時都有學過英文，「同埋我而家都有讀英文文獻」，認為英文冇乜問題。

被問到喺異地工作會否大壓力，三位姑娘又大讚工作環境「好好」，無甚工作壓力之餘，亦感到「好開心，真係好開心！」

首批來港交流的廣東省護士，現時喺各聯網嘅內科同老人科病房參與基礎臨床護理工作，並逐步喺專科護師指導下，參與更多專科護理，以及參觀老年社區設施。

The Hospital Authority held a press conference yesterday afternoon for the “Greater Bay Area Specialist Nursing Knowledge Exchange Program.” Three nurses from Guangdong Province, together with the Chief Nursing Executive, met with reporters. Some journalists questioned whether their proficiency in Cantonese would pose difficulties in communicating with elderly people in Hong Kong and whether they would be able to read medical records in English. The mainland nurses responded that there would be no problem. The Hospital Authority stated that the first batch of 70 nurses had already arrived in Hong Kong in mid-April, and the second batch of 100 nurses from Guangdong Province is expected to arrive in Hong Kong by the end of this year or early next year.

One of the mainland nurses said, “Sometimes, they may not hear me when I speak softly, so I speak louder! Haha.” She also mentioned that she had learned English when she was studying and now reads English literature, believing that English is not a problem for her.

When asked if working in a different place would cause significant stress, the three nurses highly praised the working environment, saying it was “very good.” In addition to having little work pressure, they also expressed that they felt “very happy, really happy!”

The first group of nurses from Guangdong Province who came to Hong Kong for the exchange program is currently participating in basic clinical nursing work in various networked internal medicine and geriatric wards. They are gradually getting involved in specialized nursing under the guidance of specialist nurses and visiting elderly community facilities.
