浸大校長錢大康今日（25號）通告全校師生，指因新型冠狀病毒肺炎，所有校內課程會停課直至2月17號（星期一），而不必要嘅大型活動都會取消或延期。
此外，學校會於停課期間安排網上教學，確保學生可以持續學習；亦會於復課後安排補課。

Dear Students and Colleagues,
Suspension of on-campus classes
In view of the continuing spread of the novel coronavirus pneumonia, the University has decided that all on-campus classes will be suspended until Monday February 17 and major non-essential on-campus events that may increase the risk of infection would be canceled or postponed as necessary. Further adjustments to our academic calendar would be announced as necessary.
Students and colleagues with fever and respiratory symptoms should not come to campus and should seek medical attention. The Public Hospital closest to our campus is Kwong Wah Hospital in Yau Ma Tei. The address is 25 Waterloo Road, Yau Ma Tei (adjacent to MTR Yaumatei Station). Tel: 23322331.
Arrangements will be made for eLearning during class suspension to ensure continuity of students’ learning. Makeup lessons will be provided as necessary upon resumption of normal classes.
Apart from class suspension, all operation of the university remains normal and indeed on a heightened health vigilance.
We again remind all members of the HKBU community to follow strict hygiene practice and cancel all non-essential trips to high-risk infected cities and ports.
